Context

This piece has three movements, which are all historically true:

  1. We think we could hear you in that one part of the third piece where it was just flute and cello
  2. Well-meaning concert-goer who says “that was beautiful” afterwards no matter how angry you thought you sounded
  3. I hate to say it, but in this trio setting you’re actually playing too loud

It's a very noisy harp piece. intended for three people to play on one harp, only one of whom actually needs to be a harpist. The choreography of this has yet to be tested, as it was written during the first year of the pandemic, when physical proximity was impossible.

Many thanks to Dal Niente for making such an excellent recording of it.
